MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH, 7-9PM - Join us for the PACE Planning Meeting - Want to get more involved in PACE? Come to our planning meeting on Monday, September 24th, from 7-9 PM in the Community Room at Churchill Elementary, 520 Secretariat Lane, Oswego. 2) Elementary Math Curriculum Renewal Information - FAQ's on the Elem. Math Curriculum Renewal Committee (not Elem. Math Task Force) is on the District website, http://www.oswego308.org/. Application for parents to serve on the committee will be posted September 17, and the application process closes September 30. We would like to thank the district for asking PACE to collect information from parents. If you would like to share with us, please send them to Jill Ko at ko7@sbcglobal.net.
3) Advanced Placement (AP) Informational
Meeting - An
informational meeting to explain the AP program will be held
in the Community Room at OEHS at 6 - 6:45 PM on Wednesday,
September 26th.
The purpose of the meeting is to:
1) provide an overview of the AP program
2) discuss the process/criteria for getting into an AP class
(and the streamline from AT to honors to AP)
3) Inform parents about the test and encourage participation
4) Inform parents of the test scoring structure and college
implications
5) Answer questions
We encourage junior high & high school parents to attend. If there are AP classes you would like to see in the future, please pass them along to our district administration.
